As we are preparing to leave spring and enter into summer I wanted to create this duck mini unit for my children. We often pack a picnic and head to our local pond for an afternoon of fun viewing the ducks. In this mini unit you will find fun filled duck themed learning activities like parts of a duck, life cycle of a duck, sensory themed field trip form, and more!

  1. I can’t wait to use this next year with my daughter. The nesting season is already over. I love taking the kids to the Wild Life Sanctuary to see how many geese and ducks are nesting. There isn’t a lot of action or feeding during that time as they are nesting. At least they can experience and say they seen it. When we went this year we went later and their was only one goose nesting. She didn’t have a temper when you were close but we didn’t get to close to find out.
